Kurt Angle praises The Undertaker's sense of humor

The Undertaker is one of the most respected and admired names in modern WWE history. The 'Deadman' has always been loyal to Vince McMahon during his very long career, which lasted until last year. Although his physique had shown signs of abating for a while, the Digger remained in the ring out of love for this business, allowing himself sporadic appearances in the most important events of the calendar (especially at WrestleMania, where he built much of his legend).

The former world champion announced his definitive retirement from the 2020 Survivor Series, not before receiving a splendid tribute from colleagues and professionals. Barring sensational and unlikely twists, his last fight is destined to remain the controversial 'Boneyard Match' against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36.

Within the docu-series 'The Last Ride', the Phenom is confident that he is ready for a new chapter in his life, having achieved everything a wrestler can dream of. During the last edition of the 'Kurt Angle Show', the WWE Hall of Famer talked about his working experiences with Taker.

“There are so many anecdotes that come to mind when it comes to The Undertaker” - began Kurt Angle.

“It has always been a lot of fun to work with him. He had a great sense of humor, but at the same time, he also knew how to be intimidating backstage.

When he looked at you, it was as if your father was watching you. You clearly felt his authority. This factor has been proposed in most of the segments that have seen him as protagonist. I just posted a fragment of Undertaker on social media while he incinerated me during a pre-recording” - he added.

The former Olympic gold medalist is enjoying his retirement, even if his immense career has not had the desired ending. In fact, Angle played his last match at WrestleMania 35 against Baron Corbin, certainly not the dream opponent he hoped to meet before hanging up his boots.

The Undertaker and Kurt Angle have both called time on their in-ring careers and are currently enjoying their respective post-retirement lives. On the latest edition of The Kurt Angle Show, the WWE Hall of Famer also admitted to being stiff in a match with Hulk Hogan and revealed what happened backstage after the bout.

Former WWE Superstar Braun Strowman recently shared a throwback clip with The Undertaker on Instagram. Braun Strowman was a mega babyface back in 2018 and was incredibly over with the WWE Universe. The Monster Among Men competed in a Six-Man Tag Team match at a WWE house show at Madison Square Garden on July 7, 2018.
