The story between Natalya and Charlotte Flair is one of the most beautiful within the Stamford company, with the two who met and clashed at NXT for the women's title won by Charlotte, but also later on on the main roster.
These two athletes both come from a family of wrestlers, Charlotte obviously is the daughter of the Nature Boy, Ric Flair, while Natalya comes from one of the most important families in the discipline, grandson of Bret Hart and daughter of Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart.
They have never hidden the enormous respect for each other, always trying to give their best during their clashes in the ring, helping each other or helping the less experienced to rise in the women's division.
Natalya talks about Charlotte Flair
Charlotte Flair suffers a lot of hate online, but things backstage and in the WWE locker room are totally different, with plenty of coworkers always having great words to say about the queen of the ring.
One of them is Natalya, who wanted to commend her colleague and friend by saying that after helping her when she was new to WWE, Charlotte is now doing the same with other young talents. Interviewed by Rick Ucchino of Sportskeeda she said: "Listen, in the women's division it's a dog-eat-dog world, or should I say cat-eat-cat.
It's tough. We are all vying for an opportunity and we all want to be at the center. This industry is all about paying off debts, and what I was able to help Charlotte do to NXT, it's good to see that she is paying back and paying off her debt.
She's really great at giving back, so it's nice to be able to watch someone else do it. Charlotte is in the role of a bad girl right now, a bad girl on TV, so every now and then the good guys win, so it's great to see Nikki get that chance and Charlotte pay back the debt."
Surely it's nice to see Charlotte is so appreciated by those who experience her firsthand every day, with all the hatred we see towards her online of her, often undeserved. Charlotte Flair is one of those people who loves what she does and she loves to see women succeed in a discipline that is still seen as more of an environment for men today.
It will be great when she and Natalya are in the Hall of Fame, a place they deserve. Natalya also commented on Nikki A.S.H. being the latest in a long line of women who have benefited from working with Flair’s villainous Queen character.
“Charlotte’s in the role of a bad girl right now, a villain on TV, so every now and then the good guys win, and so it’s cool to see Nikki get that opportunity and Charlotte pay it forward,” Natalya added.
