*Spoiler* What were the plans for Bray Wyatt before his release?

Since the recent events, we've been talking about Bray Wyatt and the sensational news that came directly from the official source, the WWE, which was the firing of the athlete, after months of absence from his rings. The last occasion in which the fans of the WWE Universe enjoyed a match of the Fiend, or the alter ego of Bray Wyatt, was in fact staged by the WWE in the edition of Wrestlemania in April when Wyatt had returned to have his revenge on Randy Orton, who had enraged the demon from Monday Night Raw after setting TLC on fire in their Inferno match.

After seeing Alexa Bliss turn her back on the Fiend with a sensational segment that took place just before the end of the contest, in the weeks immediately following the Showcase of the Immortals, there were plenty of plans from executives and fans in their minds, with Wyatt having, however, he had very big personal problems, which led him to be absent from the rings once again, until the day when the release was confirmed.

Bray Wyatt was released from WWE

Apparently, before making the final decision to release the now ex WWE talent, management was planning some plans for him ahead of the summer's biggest PPV: Summerslam. Among the many hypotheses that the WWE executives had considered, there was one that had been discussed until the end, but which in the end was wrecked along with Bray Wyatt's contract with the McMahons, the one that responds to the name of Drew McIntyre.

As reported by Jon Alba in the Living the Gimmick: A Pro Wrestling Podcast, in fact: "I personally reported this in LTGpodcast's Patreon, just a couple of weeks ago, Bray Wyatt/Drew McIntyre was being considered for Summerslam at some point.

I'm not sure how these discussions ended in the end, but it has been talked about multiple times at some point." The night after Alexa Bliss betrayed The Fiend during his match against Orton at WrestleMania, Bray Wyatt mentioned that all the puppets in the Firefly Fun House still had his back.

He did not even kill Rambling Rabbit, for a change. "No matter what has happened lately, we still have each other. We will always have each other. As a matter of fact, I feel great. I think this could be a brand new start for all of us here. A new season, new friends, and a brand new me! I feel reborn," Bray Wyatt said.
