WWE announced another title match for SummerSlam

Despite initial concerns over the past few weeks, with WWE and its fans starting to fear for the company's summer Big Four, SummerSlam and its airing, given the restrictions and bans that are returning. even on American soil for covid, WWE would like to continue to push on the accelerator, to better build the next Big Four card par excellence.

For several months, in fact, fans have been aware of the fact that WWE wanted to create for this year a PPV in August that was even bigger and more prestigious than Wrestlemania, with the third Big Four of the year, which was in fact already full of high-sounding characters and who are rarely seen now in the WWE, just to bring even more fans to follow the federation event.

Latest update on SummerSlam

In the last few hours, WWE wanted to communicate to its fans that a new match has been added valid for the Smackdown Tag Team Titles in SummerSlam, with the Usos, current holders of the couple belts of the blue show, who will challenge again once the couple formed by father and son, Rey and Dominik Mysterio.

Obviously, the two teams will continue to stage their feud and their storyline in the next episodes of Friday Night Smackdown, where already in the last episode Dominik had helped his father in his match against one of the Usos, with such a victory that probably had been staged just to make once again the team of Mexican origins, n° 1 contender for the titles still alongside the Samoans.

We will see in the coming weeks how things will also turn out between John Cena and Roman Reigns, with a possible twinning between the Mexicans and the leader of the Chain Gang which is not at all to be excluded, given that the family of Samoan origins is more united than never and obviously wants to continue to reign and dominate on Smackdown, even after the summer Big Four.

This marks the fourth match announced for this year's SummerSlam event. All four of them thus far have been title matches. With WWE's biggest show of the year just over two weeks away, the next couple of weeks of television have the potential to be really exciting as the card for the show comes together.

WWE SummerSlam will take place on Saturday, August 21, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Check it out on Peacock in the United States or the WWE Network internationally.
