The Rock refused to travel with The Godfather

Over the years, the greatest friendships have been born in the WWE backstage, many times even the most disparate couples, since many athletes have married with a colleague, such as Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, or Triple H and Stephanie McMahon and many others.

Working together for years, the wrestlers and insiders of the Stamford company have built very deep relationships, in many cases even sharing cars, hotel rooms, buses and so on and so forth. Very often, in fact, hilarious stories and anecdotes about some WWE Superstar's travels come out, such as all the times the police stopped the van in which Mark Henry, The Great Khali and Hornswoggle traveled together, with the agents who were always suspicious of the size.

and the particularities of the characters encountered on their journey. The Godfather, real name Charles Wright, performed in WWE as a fun-loving pimp character in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Although the gimmick was hugely popular, it drew complaints from the PTC (Parent Television Council) in the United States.

Now that live crowds are part of WWE events again, it is being reported that The Rock is set to appear at this year's Survivor Series pay-per-view. If the legendary star returns to in-ring action at some point, which current superstar do you think will wrestle him?

The Rock is one of the most successful WWE Superstars in history

Apparently, not all journeys would be comfortable and pleasant, however, with the vices of some Superstars who unfortunately cannot help but annoy their fellow travelers, such as smoking weed, which many hate, but which some smokers do not succeed to keep aside, in hours and hours of travel.

Just this vice, has led in the course of their careers, The Rock and The Godfather, to part with cars, with the marijuana smoke that had so bothered Rocky, that he stopped traveling with him. This was revealed by WWE Hall of Famer himself, in his latest interview with the microphones of Such Good Shoot podcast, where the former member of the Nation of Domination revealed: "One day Rocky came up to me and said, 'Hey, Papa, I can't travel with you anymore.'

And I said, 'What the fuck does that mean you can't travel with me anymore?' And he, 'Well, everywhere I go I smell of weed and I have to tell people it's not true that I smell of weed. And the next time, when these people see me again, I always have to say the same thing, which is not the smell of weed, but actually, I smell of weed!'"
