Aleister Black opens up on his wife Zelina Vega

As you all know by now, the two wrestlers Zelina Vega and Aleister Black, now known in the All Elite Wrestling rings as Malakai Black, have been husband and wife for some years now. The Friday Night Smackdown wrestler, after a few years of relationship with former WWE and TNA wrestler Austin Aries, was eventually engaged to the dark wrestler best known before WWE as Tommy End, with the two getting married a few years after the start of their relationship.

In the last period, unfortunately, both Zelina and Aleister have both been fired by the WWE, the first for having violated a rule wanted by the Chairman of the WWE, Vince McMahon, regarding relations with third parties and all extra-WWE commitments, such as Onlyfans or Twitch and the latter instead for budget cuts that have pushed him more and more off the roster.

The timing of these choices, however, was somewhat strange, given that Zelina Vega was then re-enacted by the company and was reintroduced to the public only a few weeks after her husband's firing before Black also went on to make her debut in front.

to AEW cameras.

Aleister Black on Zelina Vega

In his last speech to the microphones of the well-known broadcast of the former AEW World Champion, Chris Jericho, or the famous Talk Is Jericho, Aleister Black has in fact revealed some reasons why his wife has signed a new contract with WWE, after the first dismissal, saying: "When the release came, Johnny Ace (John Laurinaitis ed) called me and he too was confused.

My wife was in tears because she knew it. She was about to return and one of the main reasons she wanted to come back was because I was there too, which more or less was the driving force behind it, more than the promises they made to her."

Apparently, the main reason why Zelina Vega was to return to WWE is no longer there. It will now be seen if the company will have big plans for her in the future or if the days in the federation will be numbered for her too, until either she herself requests the release or the WWE will still release her, after some more outbursts from the Chairman.

What many fans noticed about Black right upon his AEW debut was that his eye still looked as damaged as before. So what happened to his eye? In what can only be perceived as dedication on Aleister Black's part, the "injured eye" is a part of a storyline that he has carried over to AEW from WWE. On the July 27th, 2020 episode of RAW, Murphy drove Black's eye into the edge of the steel steps.
