The last episode of Monday Night Raw was staged on 16th August before SummerSlam's WWE Pay Per View. There was great anticipation for this event, the most anticipated event of the summer and on Monday, the red brand presented the last details before this show.
Raw will take place on August 16 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. In addition to this particular segment, however, there will be at least two very interesting matches. Randy Orton and Roman Reigns have faced off on various occasions in the past and both men are sure-fire future WWE Hall of Famers.
Orton is one of the most hilarious WWE Superstars on social media, and it was quite refreshing to see that a fellow WWE Superstar fired back at him with full force for once.
Backstage news on Randy Orton
One of the most anticipated matches on Monday Night Raw is undoubtedly the Singles Match between the Legend Killer Randy Orton and the giant Omos.
The Viper returned to Raw last week and at the end of the show, after winning a very interesting match against AJ Styles, he hit Matt Riddle out of nowhere with an RKO leaving the audience in shock. The former NXT star had stopped Omos and had contributed to Orton's victory, despite the latter having explicitly specified that he did not like anyone's help and that he wanted to win that match totally alone.
In the end, despite this, the evolution of the situation seems to be heading towards a challenge for the Raw Tag Team Championship between the champions AJ Styles and Omos and the RK-Bro Randy Orton and Matt Riddle, a strange couple that in recent months has made very entertaining throughout the WWE Universe.
In addition to this there will be a Handicap Match that will see Drew McIntyre opposed against Veer and Shanky, companions of Jinder Mahal. The Scottish Psychopath and Jinder will compete in a few days at SummerSlam and a victory by the Scottish wrestler can give him confidence in the run-up to the summer event.
There are still some situations to check but as usual Monday Night Raw is highly anticipated and there will be three hours of intense pre-SummerSlam show. Roman Reigns' social media character has also changed drastically.
He doesn't hold back one bit while taking brutal shots at fellow superstars on Twitter or Instagram. Earlier this year, Reigns took a shot at Baron Corbin on Twitter and referred to himself as the former US Champion's dad.
