Right now Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg is grappling with a storyline with WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and the two will face off for the title in SummerSlam. There is great anticipation and tonight, in the last episode of Monday Night Raw before the show, the two wrestlers had an interesting face to face.
After a dialectical clash, Goldberg finally responded to the criticisms coming from the opponent and also from the WWE Universe and reacted by hitting with a Spear The All Mighty. The notice in view of the next Pay Per View is launched but in the meantime Bill Goldberg is also thinking of something else, relaunching a challenge that would have been sensational.
Ever since Roman Reigns hailed himself as The Head of the Table, fans have been speculating about a potential clash between the Universal Champion and iconic WWE Superstar, The Rock. Reigns recently acknowledged the idea and shared his thoughts on the best possible event to book the highly-anticipated match.
He believes he can face The Rock at WrestleMania 38 next year.
Goldberg opens up on Roman Reigns
During a recent interview with DAZN microphones, WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg talked about who he would like to face in the future and without hesitation, he immediately named the Tribal Chief and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
In the course of the interview, Bill spoke like this: "Obviously I want to face Roman Reigns. I want a piece of someone from Georgia Tech and I want to have the opportunity to challenge him. I think about football, the various comparisons and I think it's a match that has to happen.
Am I begging him? Well, no. I do what they ask me to do at work and what my boss tells me to do, but I think it could be an intriguing opportunity." Finally, Bill also revealed a message to his next challenger: "All I can say to Bobby Lashley is, 'You better be ready for this match,' because a lot of things have gone through my mind ahead of this challenge so you better be really ready.
In general, I can feel quite proud of myself and the fact that I am still competing, I am useful to my employer and the fans still believe in me as a competitive wrestler. I will be able to improve the opinion they have of me thanks to this match against Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam."
