In a few days, SummerSlam will be staged, which is by far the most important pay-per-view of the summer. The event will be held in Las Vegas on August 21, with WWE having received permission to host fans in the arena. There is great anticipation for a show that promises to be full of twists, also given the recent returns to the ring of two authentic sacred monsters like John Cena and Goldberg.

The first will face Roman Reigns for the Universal title, while the second will try to end the reign of Bobby Lashley. For Bill, this is the second appearance in 2021 after the one at the Royal Rumble, in which he surrendered rather sharply to Drew McIntyre.

In a lengthy interview with DAZN, Goldberg admitted that he would love to face the leader of the 'Cenation' before hanging up his boots. Recall that the WWE Hall of Famer has a contract that binds him to Vince McMahon's company until 2023 (in which two matches are scheduled per year).

Goldberg talks about John Cena

"John Cena has always been the opponent of my dreams" - confided Goldberg. “We have never had a chance to work together. We are two completely different characters, but I don't feel like ruling out that sooner or later we will find ourselves facing each other in the ring" - he continued.

Goldberg then praised the talent of Big E, whose rise has raved the WWE Universe in recent months. “Big E is definitely on the list of the best talents around. I've watched him grow up for years and I'm really proud of him.

I remember when he came to me to ask for an autograph many years ago, since he was a kid it was clear that he wanted to be successful in this business. The hard work and dedication he put into it have paid off, I can only be very happy for him”- explained Bill.

The 'The Biggest Party of the Summer' card offers many interesting matches, including those that will give away women's belts. All that remains is to wait a few days to enjoy the show. In an interview with DAZN, Goldberg stated that he knows Riddle is passionate about the business, and he praised the RAW star's good work ethic.

The WCW legend was also asked whether he has any interest in facing Riddle and confirmed that he does. "The guy has put in a lot of fr*ckin hard work and a lot of hard work, and he's dedicated his life to this business," said Goldberg.

"Whether I like him as a human being or not, I have to understand and appreciate his passion for the business and his work ethic. Because he works hard and that I appreciate as an athlete and as a human. Is he a pr*ck sometimes? Absolutely. But that's him. That's his character, and so am I."
