WWE is planning a feud between Brock Lesnar and Gable Steveson

One of the most buzzing signings in WWE is undoubtedly the young and talented Gable Steveson. The 21-year-old American recently won Olympic gold and Vince McMahon's company signed him. WWE Universe insiders and fans are hoping for a consecration of him that could possibly lead him to walk in the footsteps of a company legend like Kurt Angle.

Gable Steveson has revealed that he has been training in recent months with Brock Lesnar and apparently the two are very close friends. According to some rumors reported by the well-known colleague Dave Meltzer, WWE is even thinking of having the young talent and The Beast Incarnate challenge in a spectacular event at Wrestlemania.

Roman Reigns’ ‘Chief Counsel’ Paul Heyman recently revealed exciting details about Brock Lesnar’s real-life relationship with Gable Steveson. He took credit for all of the 21-year-old’s right business decisions, including his Olympic Gold Medal.

Heyman said he had arranged for Steveson to train with Lesnar at the University of Minnesota.

Brock Lesnar recently returned to the company

Speaking during an interview with TMZ's microphones, Paul Heyman spoke of Gable Steveson (and as he usually does) praised himself for the work he did with the Olympic gold medal.

Here are his statements specifically: “I can say that I am personally responsible for all the right corporate decisions regarding Gable Steveson, his career and his life. It is also my credit for his recent gold medal and his NCAA Division 1 heavyweight championship.

I was the one who arranged for Gable Steveson to train with Brock Lesnar at the University of Minnesota and that was important for him to win the Olympics. In addition to this, I must admit that I recommended the strategy to win the gold medal at the Olympics." WWE is betting heavily on Gable Steveson and for this reason, the company seems ready to launch the Olympic champion in the main roster soon.

As for Brock Lesnar, The Beast Incarnate is back in WWE after more than a year and a half of absence, speaking at the end of the SummerSlam Main Event. The wrestler seems to want to soon start a feud against Roman Reigns even if at the moment the date of their possible confrontation is not yet known.

As per the latest backstage reports, WWE is planning a feud between Brock Lesnar and Gable Steveson in the near future. It’s being speculated that this feud will end with The Beast Incarnate ‘passing the torch’ in a big match at WrestleMania.
