Dean Ambrose comments on people in WWE who only care about money

Dean Ambrose has decided to leave WWE at the end of his contract immediately after WrestleMania 35. According to some rumors, 'The Lunatic Fringe' will sign a contract with AEW, but it is more likely to take a rest from wrestling.

During a recent interview with The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast, Ambrose made some criticisms of WWE: “You guys are like me, there are a lot of people here that are just here for the money. They didn’t grow up watching it, they don’t care for what they do, they have no artistic care for what we do.

But you guys are like me, this is all we’ve ever loved, this is our thing. Toys are a part of it. I had every job under the sun. Maybe six months might have been the longest that I could sustain a job anywhere because everything took a backseat to wrestling”.

Following The Shield's breakup, Ambrose has gone on to become a one-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, a three-time Intercontinental Champion, and a two-time Raw Tag Team Champion (with Seth Rollins). It was reported that he had been offered an improved contract by WWE, which he turned down due to long-standing frustration with the creative direction of his character and a particular dislike of the "hokey" material he had been given.
