The team regularly faced babyface teams.
Drew McIntyre Reveals He Has Been Trying to Get WWE To Do a PPV in the UK
Drew loves the idea of WWE holding a major PPV event in the UK. WWE is the largest wrestling promotion in the world and they have fans in the UK.
WWE has actually held several PPV events in the UK in the past. However, it has been several years since their last major PPV even in the UK. Drew spoke about it on Sportskeeda. Drew stated that he has been trying to get the WWE to do a PPV in the UK for the past 10 years.
Meanwhile, the next PPV that the WWE's going to have is the Crown Jewel that'll be held in Saudi Arabia later in October. “I’ve not stopped talking about it for the last 10 years. Especially since the last year and a half since I became the WWE Champion, I’ve been fortunate to have a lot of media opportunities.
Any chance I get, I talk about it. The UK is such a significant market for us, the fans are so passionate and rabid as everybody knows when you watch TV from the UK. They deserve a significant PPV. There hasn’t been one since SummerSlam 1992.
Next year will be the 30th anniversary – I’ve been pushing, and pushing, and pushing it,” Drew Mcintyre said.
