Backstage Seth Rollins, interviewed by Kayla Braxton, says that he has not exceeded the limit by invading Edge's house and that he did it to keep faith with his words, then claiming to have an answer to the challenge launched.
- Queen's Crown Tournament First Round match: Zelina Vega vs Toni Storm. The result: Clear victory of Zelina after a Sunset Flip which is decisive.
Zelina Vega and Carmella advanced on SmackDown
The quarter finals of the Queen's Crown are halfway done following SmackDown.
There were two matches - Zelina Vega vs Toni Storm, and Carmella vs Liv Morgan. It must have been a heel's night because both Vega and Carmella advanced on SmackDown. Here too I look at the scoreboard. My support goes obviously to Natalya and Dana Brooke, who will be clearly eliminated in the first round, while for the victory I assume the Queen Of Spades Shayna or Carmella.
Dave Meltzer noted that unless Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson returns for a WrestleMania 38 match against his Samoan cousin, Reigns vs. Lesnar is the next big option for next year's Show of Shows. Here's an excerpt of Meltzer's report from the Newsletter: "From what we understand and what makes sense, is this is not a one-and-done program.
For one, unless Dwayne Johnson is wrestling Reigns at next year's WrestleMania, this would appear to be the biggest possible Mania match. So the idea here is to build to a return, whether that means Lesnar wins to build to a rematch or some disputed decision takes place," revealed Meltzer.
About 25000 US citizens were injured and a couple of thousands of victims were reported dead. WWE superstar, Zelina Vega, lost her father, Michael Angel Trinidad that day. Vegas spoke at the homecoming ceremony, which marked the 20th anniversary of the inhuman attack.
She emotionally addressed her late father during her speech and paid tribute to him. “And my father, Michael Angel Trinidad. We love you, we miss you. There’s so many events I wish you were a part of, like my wedding or Timmy making you a grandfather.
We hope that you’re proud of us, and please look after me and the rest of the family”. Vega said. “Obviously, we have the choice if we want to read names or not and I felt like this was the appropriate year to do it.
I did it once before when I was 13 years old, and it was a very big responsibility for someone so young. It also felt like I had a duty to represent my father. I feel the same thing for the 20th anniversary”. Vega said.
