Top analyst opens up on Roman Reigns

Tribal Chief and Universal WWE Champion Roman Reigns is arguably one of the biggest fans of Vince McMahon's company. The statements of the strong wrestler have caused a sensation in the last hours, almost to make one of the greatest opponents of the WWE, the AEW, insignificant.

Responding to a media question about AEW the Tribal Chief said clearly: "AEW competition? For me, it doesn't. It's subjective and there's a lot of passion that fluctuates and creates impartial opinion. From my point of view, though I can say that I don't see AEW as a competition, they have a more hardcore fan base as WWE tries to connect to anyone.

Our goal is to connect to any audience, engaging the new viewer and at the same time trying to satisfy our hardcore fan base." These words caused quite a stir in the wrestling world as well as the fact that Roman seemed to want to respond to All Elite Wrestling star and former WWE CM Punk.

Backstage News on Roman Reigns

Universal Champion Roman Reigns has opened up on what's next for him in WWE as he continues his path of destruction on SmackDown. According to reports Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live, the WWE Universal Champion believes everything he says about WWE in interviews.

Here are Alvarez's words about it: "Roman Reigns is one of those people who fights and who would give his life for WWE... We can consider him as a loyal soldier employed by the WWE and the WWE Universe." At the same time, it seems obvious that Roman Reigns defends the WWE as the company totally believes in his abilities, so much so that over the years he has become an authentic superstar, now made wrestler at the level of legends like The Undertaker, Triple H or Brock Lesnar.

Roman Reigns is the biggest star in wrestling right now, and he'll undoubtedly be a star in Hollywood as well if he chooses to go down that path. But at the moment, it seems like The Tribal Chief is focused on keeping hold of the Universal Champion and making SmackDown his Island Of Relevancy.

"I think we’re in the middle of what we’re trying to do now," said Reigns. "So ultimately I’m focused to finish what we’re doing within this run, wherever that may land. It could be a year from now. It could be five years from now. I’m not sure exactly what that timeframe is going to dictate."
