Crown Jewel 2021 is now one step away, with the WWE crew already about to leave for Riyadh, where on Thursday the much-awaited PPV will be staged. Among the many very important matches of the card, there is one more than others that will surely be a magnet for the public, let's talk about the Hell in a Cell match between the WWE Hall of Famer, Edge and the former WWE Champion Seth Rollins.
After years in which the particular stipulation was staged almost exclusively in the homonymous ppv, except in very rare cases, such as the match between The Undertaker and Shane McMahon of Wrestlemania, the Hell in a Cell also returns outside the pay-per-view that has taken the same name and does so for a very particular match, which will put an end to the feud between the Rated R Superstar and the Messiah of the company.
If fans of the WWE Universe were thinking how Edge could stay locked up at home or in the gym to train night and day at the match, instead, the Canadian wanted to leave everyone stunned, taking a "mini-vacation", just before departure for Saudi Arabia.
Crown Jewel: The latest news on Edge
WWE will travel to Saudi Arabia for the first time in over a year, with Crown Jewel set to transpire on Thursday. The card has been set, but a few changes could yet take place from now until showtime in Riyadh.
Crown Jewel has been built pretty well, with nine matches currently scheduled for the event. WWE can add a couple more to it, while some existing matches may receive further changes in stakes or participants. Meanwhile, through his latest post on Instagram, Edge conveyed he took a mini-vacation before Crown Jewel to recharge his batteries and return more charged than ever in the ring, after weeks off home.
"Today I found my own little private beach. Mini vacation done. Batteries recharged. Time to get back to work." As we have seen from the Draft, Edge and Seth Rollins will both be moved to Raw, starting the day after Crown Jewel, but anyway after Hell in a Cell, it should be all between the two.
all done. The appointment with Arabia and the infernal cage will therefore give a great boost to the status of whichever of the two athletes will win the match, with Seth Rollins who, if he were to come out as a winner from Hell ina Cell, could already be the challenger of Big E on Raw, as long as the athlete keeps the belt against Drew McIntyre.
