Mark Henry wants to become a locker room enforcer

Although he retired from wrestling many years ago, Mark Henry still remains a reference figure in the WWE backstage. The former World Heavyweight Champion is helping many young talents to enter the main roster in the future.

Following WrestleMania 33, Henry would retire and transition into a backstage producers role. He would later make a one-night televised return on Raw 25 Years. On March 19, 2018, it was announced that Henry would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

On April 27, at Greatest Royal Rumble event, Henry participated in the match, scoring 3 eliminations but did not win the match. In a recent interview with the NotSam Wrestling Podcast, Henry commented on certain issues that the locker room in WWE has: “Me being gone this last year and a half, there’s a lot of stuff that’s happened in the locker room that would’ve never happened under my watch.

People arguing and fussing about stuff. There’s been a couple of people be habitually late, which Vince hates. But he don’t have Taker or Me. Booker’s not there — only at TV. Big Show’s been injured.

So all the guys that hold peoples’ face to the fire is not there. That shit is finna come to an abrupt stop."
