Trish Stratus may be returning to WWE soon

One of the fundamental faces in the history of WWE women's wrestling is undoubtedly that of Trish Stratus, former world champion of the Stamford-based company, who was one of the pioneers of women's wrestling who went outside the idea that one had of women until a few years ago in the WWE.

If for years the female matches were a mere filler, which no one considered, neither the management nor the fans of the WWE Universe, especially for how they were booked and presented by the company, thanks to not even building characters up to the level for its athletes, in the last period there was the long-awaited Women's Revolution, with personalities of the caliber of Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, Sasha Baks and Charlotte Flair who contributed and not a little to the birth of a huge female sector in the main roster of the federation, which can quietly stand up to the men on the roster.

In her latest interview with WWE The Bump, the former Friday Night Smackdown champion said: "I'm waiting for Trish. It's all in his hands. I think he's deliberately avoiding me, because he doesn't answer my calls.

Now she is all part of the game, I am always ready, I remain ready. So anytime Trish will be ready for me, she knows where to look for me”. Another great challenge started from a WWE star of today, to a star of the past, with several historical faces from WWE and WCW.

, who still today tread the rings of the McMahon company, (see Goldberg), writing pages of WWE history, to the delight of several WWE Universe fans, both present and past. In a 2020 interview, Trish Stratus claimed that Banks and she had "unfinished business."

"I mean, I think Sasha Banks and I might have some unfinished business and I say this with much love and respect...I think that would be an interesting thing to pursue, possibly at some point. Maybe possibly down the line at some point.
