MJF opens up on his future

Appearing on the show Rasslin 'with Brandon Walker, MJF talked about various things that are part of his career at AEW, with the boy being considered one of the four pillars of the company along with Jungle boy, Darby Allin and Sammy Guevara.

Among these things, he also wanted to say about his possible future in WWE and maybe a challenge against Roman Reigns, not holding back with some MJF-style dig that now all the wrestling public knows well. "Roman Reigns lost in the key demographic to Ruby Soho, and Ruby Soho sucks, so I don't know what to tell you.

Don't get me wrong, it's not me talking about Roman Reigns shit. I think Roman Reigns is a great performer, he really is, I think he's absolutely amazing. Am I better than him with the microphone and in the ring? Sure, but I'm not going to go out and talk bad about him because I respect him.

I respect what he does. I respect the hard work that goes into that product that is WWE. Again, one day I might work there. I'm also sure that when he sees me, he'll pretend he doesn't know who I am because that's what they do over there.

When I actually know they're all looking at our stuff. Again, I can't stress this enough, I'm a huge Roman Reigns fan. I think he is great. I'd like to work with him someday."

MJF on his future

Fans of MJF and Roman Reigns would love to see these two mega heels square off in the ring somewhere down the line.

The chances of the match happening anytime soon are pretty slim. Also during this interview, the boy talked about his contract with AEW and his possible future after the deadline: “[..] I'll be here for a long time.

[…] Tony knows he has the best on the microphone in his hands and I am also one of the best fighters in the ring in the world today. [..] If Tony Khan, a good friend of mine, doesn't shell out the right amount of money when my contract expires in early 2024, I could go to the other place [WWE ed].

I could go there, I could go to IMPACT, I could go to the Ring of Honor. I can go where I want because they are the h*ttest commodity in pro-wrestling." As for Roman Reigns, he is Vince McMahon's golden goose and is one of the most protected superstars in WWE history.

Roman has headlined four consecutive WrestleMania events, is a multi-time world champion and has helped SmackDown become the "A show" over RAW.
