Debra, Jim Duggan's wife, wrote on Facebook to say, “Back where we don't want to be. Please pray for Jim and his doctors because he has emergency surgery this morning. Thanks, Debra. " At first, obviously, no one knew what had happened at the Hall of Famer, but then the wife continued to keep her friends, colleagues and fans updated, even with some photos: "Hello everyone, this is Debra.
This photo is hours after her second emergency surgery in 24 hours. She has had a serious infection, but we think we have solved everything, even if she will be in the hospital for a few more days. Thank you all for your constant thoughts and prayers."
A third update then always came from the wrestler's official page, apparently written once again by his wife: “Operation done and he's back in his room. All went well. Thank you for your prayers, your positive energy and your beautiful thoughts.
You can continue to do them." Legend Jake “The Snake” Roberts also wanted to reassure fans on Twitter: “Great news !!! Hacksaw Jim Duggan has finished the operation and is recovering."
Update on Jim Duggan
For those unaware, Jim Duggan has been in and out of the hospital over the years.
In September 2019, he underwent two operations within 24 hours for a "severe infection." In 2018, Duggan had a health problem during Thanksgiving, revealing that his heart went into atrial fibrillation and he underwent a cardiac procedure in March 2019.
He is now used to going to the hospital, but in any case, it must always be a very scary and difficult thing to deal with. Now it seems that now the situation for man is stable. We obviously send him our best wishes for a speedy recovery and we hope that everything can be resolved for the best, also thanks to the love and warmth that surrounds him, coming not only from his family but also from friends and all the fans.
of wrestling. Go Hacksaw! Unfortunately, Jim Duggan has been to the hospital on quite a few occasions over the last several years, including a heart procedure in 2018 for Atrial Fibrillation. That was followed by a pair of heart surgeries in 2019 for what was reported as a "serious infection."
These are truly scary situations. On behalf of everyone here at Sportskeeda, we want to send our best wishes to "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, Debra, and the rest of the Duggan family on a safe and speedy recovery.
