Jimmy Korderas opens up on Charlotte Flair

Interviewed by Wrestling Inc, former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas talked a bit about the latest news regarding the McMahon-owned company, in particular he focused on the women's division. About what happened and is happening between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, said: "I think it's a rarity nowadays.

I don't mean it was common in the past, but things like that have happened. We know the problems with Shawn [Michaels] and Bret [Hart], and there was also something I witnessed after a SmackDown match between Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle […] Sometimes things get hot, for whatever reason, whether it's the ego, whether something happened in the match, whatever the case may be, something has been said that shouldn't have been said." Then he added: "I think it is less frequent now, but at the same time, in this business, the ego is a big thing, and this is my impression, this is what happened here.

[...] I was not a big fan of just trading stocks in the first place. It was like 'yeah okay they're trading blue and red stocks back and forth.' It seemed like a lazy idea, but maybe something was said backstage that triggered things.

I don't know, but apparently, according to reports, it got intense. If I'm not mistaken, I read somewhere that Charlotte snubbed Vince [Mcmahon] too."

The veteran referee also spoke of something more positive for the women's division: "The women performed admirably.

They had a terrifying match," said Jimmy Korderas. "The match three was fantastic." While he criticized the Queen's Crown Tournament, as did many fans of the discipline: “The Queen of the Ring, I hate to label it that way.

The whole Queen's Crown Tournament was a bit flat in my opinion." According to PWTorch sources, Charlotte Flair has been "increasingly difficult to work with." Another WWE superstar said that no female star wants to work with her in any capacity.

According to Dave Meltzer, Charlotte Flair's backstage situation is tricky. If WWE punishes Charlotte Flair, they would have to do the same to other wrestlers who are difficult backstage. “It’s a tricky situation, isn’t it? Does WWE just hand her over to AEW?” said the source.

Rumors of Charlotte moving to AEW have dominated headlines ever since her altercation with Becky Lynch. Charlotte has certainly been no stranger to controversy during her tenure as The Queen. She's been outspoken and there have been rumors that she's been difficult to work at times.
