During the last edition of the WWE Draft, the entire Hit Row stable broke into the Friday Night Smackdown rings, with the leadership of the McMahon federation having decided after only a few months together in the NXT rings, to move all the components of the stable of the yellow show, in the blue one on Friday night, which is broadcast on FOX television screens.
One of the talents on which Chairman Vince McMahon seems to want to bet more, is Top Dolla, a former football player with a massive physique, who even before joining WWE had made his name known in the United States and a little around for the world.
Instead of betting heavily on former NXT North-American Champion Isaiah "Swerve" Scott, it seems the company wants to become the new stable leader, Top Dolla, with executives who would see a great future in his hands. Apparently, Top Dolla's also willing to receive some blows done well in the Smackdown rings, just to grow his career, including losing to the Tribal Chief of the blue show: Roman Reigns.
Top Dolla opens up on Roman Reigns
In his last interview, the heaviest Hit Row member wanted to say to the microphones of the Jobbing Out Podcast: "They (the people on the internet), are always like 'I wish I could see Top Dolla vs Roman Reigns.'
... And I answer very simply 'Man, I would gladly work at Roman Reigns.' But what the hell? Do you understand or do you know this business? Let's be 100% honest here, if you get into the ring with Roman Reigns, you're already winning.
Even if you don't win the match, you are still winning because you are in the ring with Roman Reigns." With a great message of esteem as well as respect for Roman Reigns, Top Dolla confirmed how she would gladly step into the WWE ring to lose soundly.
against the Tribal Chief of the blue show, in a match that would certainly be a fundamental pawn for the construction of Dolla's career in WWE. After all, the best careers have been built with great matches, which very often did not however constitute a physical victory of the contest for the legends of the federation.
As mentioned earlier, Hit Row was drawn to the Blue brand from the NXT brand. The group of Top Dolla, Isaiah "Swerve" Scott, Ashante "Thee" Adonis, and B-Fab, was drafted on Night 1 of the 2021 WWE Draft as SmackDown's #6 pick.
The Draft picks come into effect on October 22 following Crown Jewel pay-per-view, so Hit Row could still make another appearance on NXT.
