The Rock opens up on the women's division

Interviewed by Present Company, The Rock wanted to say a few words about women in wrestling, in particular, about his daughter who has been training at the Performance Center for some time now, and the Women’s Evolution.

Regarding his daughter, Simone Johnson who was inducted into the February 2020 class of the Performance Center in Orlando, roommate of NXT superstar Indi Hartwell, the man said, “She's in it [in wrestling]. She is also a full-time student.

A full-time student in their training facility, WWE has a great training facility, NXT, she's in it, she loves the world of wrestling, and I'm very proud of her."

When will The Rock return to WWE?

Continuing his speech, The Rock also talked about how the situation for women in wrestling has obviously changed and evolved over the past few years: “What's great about this is where we are today and the impact that wrestling female has had on that industry, today it is truly spectacular compared to 20 years ago.

Things were very different 20 years ago and even before. Today, where they are, they are the best pay-per-viewers and in fact, female talent is, rightly so, pushed to the forefront and into these positions in the main event and they are all doing a great job, including my daughter.

I am very proud of all the women there are." Recently The Rock also starred in a beautiful episode with current Raw champion Becky Lynch. In fact, the woman told, during one of the many interviews recently released, that she felt with The Rock to use her Rock Bottom, which for her is the Manhandle Slam: “I used a variation of Rock Bottom before […] I asked The Rock if I could use it and he was very nice and said I could.

I called him, told him what was going to happen in Summerslam and said 'I should make a move on her [Bianca Belair], can I use this? And he: 'Yes.' He is so fantastic and so kind giving you his time and his advice. Getting advice from one of the best like him and someone who is as busy as him makes you feel very happy." This month, WWE is celebrating 25 years since The Rock made his WWE debut.

Of course, The Brahma Bull made his debut at Survivor Series in 1996, which adds to the speculation that he will appear on November 21 to celebrate the anniversary. There have also been plenty of rumors that The Rock will take on his bloodline Roman Reigns at WrestleMania in 2022.

An appearance at Survivor Series could likely kickstart that storyline. WWE has been teasing the possibility recently on their social media pages.
