Smackdown: Aliyah continues to have a great impact

Before the match between Jeff Hardy and Sami, we see Aliyah talking to someone on the phone sad about the news of Sonya and Mustafa Ali approaches her, who tells her that he understands her and that it is a shame and before continuing, Ricochet arrives who tells her not to listening to him and then encouraging her to go on telling her that she was very good and the two walk away talking, leaving Ali alone.

Jeff Hardy vs Sami Zayn With the audience all on his side, the legend Jeff Hardy finds all the strength possible to give his best against Zayn, risking pinning him down. Eventually, he succeeds because his opponent gets distracted by the referee and the match ends after a Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb.

Instead of Roman Reigns, Sonya Deville kicked off Friday’s WWE SmackDown. She introduced the participants of the SmackDown women’s Survivor Series team: Natalya, Shotzi, Aliyah, and Shayna Baszler. She also introduced Sasha Banks, who made her return to SmackDown after two weeks.

Aliyah was called up to SmackDown

The Boss teamed up with Naomi and Aliyah to take on Shotzi, Baszler, and Natalya. The heels isolated Aliyah and Baszler looked to end things early with the Kirifuda Clutch. So Sami Zayn is off the SD team at the Survivor Series.

Let's now move on to a backstage video of Hit Row, who make their usual speeches to the rhythm of the music, talking about their greatness, with Mahal and Shanky responding to the rhymes of the former stable NXT, but guys… TRASH ON TRASH ON TRASH!

Staying backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Ridge Holland who once again talks about her idol Sheamus like last week. If I were in Irish I would call the police because this seems like a stalker to me. Approaching is Cesaro telling him that he knows Sheamus well and that even if he loves him, he lately has a strange attitude, so he must be careful.

But Ridge replies that he will take his place by teaming up with Sheamus and they will become a better tag team than The Bar. At the latest WWE Draft 2021 extension on Talking Smack, Aliyah was called up to SmackDown, finally securing her position on the main roster.

Following this call-up, the new main roster debutant left a message for the WWE Universe. “It feels great. And to anyone out there that’s watching, I just want to let you know — just keep going. If you have a goal, if you have a plan, if you have a dream in mind, just keep going, keep pushing. If nobody else believes in you, well, guess what? You better believe in yourself”.
