Even the last PPV of this long year went to the WWE archives, with Survivor Series which therefore closed the list of the Big Four events, or the four great PPVs of the year of the company, after the Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania and Summerslam and for the first time it also definitively closed the solar year of the McMahon company, which this year will not have a PPV in December, but will have one on January 1st.
In the ppv that took place tonight, all the disputes were dedicated to the clashes between Monday Night Raw and Friday Night Smackdown, with the Champion vs Champion matches or the team matches, which dominated, as in the last editions of the last Big Four of WWE's historic year.
In one of these contests, where the two secondary champions of their respective rosters challenged each other and therefore Damian Priest, US Raw champion on one side and Shinsuke Nakamura, Intercontinental Champion of Smackdown on the other, there was also a sensational turn heel that has left the fans quite amazed, although there had already been some signs in the last episodes of the red show, about some behavior problems on the part of the former Bad Bunny ally.
During the Champion vs Champion fight of the Survivor Series, Shinsuke Nakamura's musician friend Rick Boogs stayed at ringside playing his electric guitar, with Damian Priest not appreciating it too much, freaking out first against.
Damian Priest attacks Nakamura and Boogs
Nakamura's mustachioed friend and then against the Intercontinental champion himself. In fact, in a moment of the match, Damian Priest lost his head with Boogs, starting him to attack and breaking his guitar, which he then wanted to smash on Nakamura's head.
Obviously, with this move, Priest triggered the disqualification, with his attitude that seems to have clearly passed in the midst of that of the heels, with his time between the babyfaces of Monday Night Raw which is therefore now over.
We will see in the next episodes of the red show what will happen with the new character of Damian Priest and above all where he will go to parry the former NXT archer in the rings of the main roster. Damian Priest is having a remarkable run on the main roster.
The rookie from NXT emerged as a breakout star, starting with his main roster debut at the Royal Rumble. The Archer of Infamy has managed to pick up victories over the likes of The Miz, John Morrison, Sheamus, and even Drew McIntyre over the last few weeks. As a result, he's one of the h*ttest superstars on the red brand.
