WWE's replaced Nia Jax with...

In November, the WWE decided to release other superstars, always with the motivation of budget cuts that however little convinces the fans, also given the money that the company continues to grind despite the COVID. One of these was Nia Jax, news that shocked everyone because even if the woman was not particularly "safe", as the Americans would say, in the ring, she was still a top star for Stamford-based company.

The Samoan later also let the fans know a very important thing, namely that we hadn't seen her on-screen for some time due to some mental health problem, in fact she had asked for a break to be able to recover.

Nia Jax was one of the most powerful women in WWE

Dave Meltzer, in his usual Wrestling Observer Radio, reported that one of the reasons Nia Jax was fired is because WWE would have preferred Doudrop to her, with the two likely having a similar path and character in the company.

“The Doudrop commercial was probably where they wanted Nia Jax. Because if you remember they wanted to bring Nia Jax back by mid-November and when she said no, which is when they fired her, the Doudrop thing started, ”the reporter noted.

In fact, in her post-firing statement on social media, Nia had made it known the following: “[…] I recently took a short time off from WWE for a mental health break. […] Earlier this week, after WWE sent me my plan to return to the ring for the November 15th show, I asked for an extension […]” Extension that obviously WWE didn't give you, or at least he gave it to her forever by firing her.

Meltzer also concluded by saying that we now have a Doudrop heel because WWE wanted to give her a character similar to that of Nia Jax, who had long been an established heel, also alongside, and then no longer, Shayna Baszler.

The former RAW Women's Champion has always been a controversial figure in WWE. Many fans have called Nia Jax an unsafe worker, but her star power cannot be denied. Jax was one of the most powerful women in WWE and brought a dominating aura to the women's division.

The Unstoppable Force was one of the multiple superstars that WWE had released this year. The latest round of cuts saw names like John Morrison and Top Dolla get the ax. It is unlikely that she will sign with any other big promotion. It's hard for Duodrop to replace Nia Jax in the women's division so we could see the latter return to WWE again.
