Ric Flair does not want to return to WWE

Ric Flair said he was talking about the Aew on social media just for fun. In fact, lately, he's tweeted often about the company and this has alerted the fans. This week, in the latest episode of the Ric Flair Wooooo Nation Uncensored Podcast, the wrestling legend has opened that door again.

Flair said: "Yes, I would like to go and work for Tony Khan, but I will never go back to WWE." The Nature Boy also added, "There were no arguments. I told Vince Mcmahon and my word is pretty much my bond: unless they do something really stupid to me, that I would never go to work for the competition.

And now they've done some really stupid things to open the door. But I certainly haven't talked to Tony [Khan]. I haven't heard a word from him. I watch all the shows I appreciate the athletes and the people involved, but I'm not actively in discussions with anyone."

Ric Flair on having one final match

WWE legend Ric Flair has opened up about having one final match in pro wrestling and was offered to lock horns with AEW star Sammy Guevara.

Flair hasn't wrestled since 2011, with his last match coming against Sting in IMPACT Wrestling. WWE did not allow him to get in the ring as he wasn't cleared to take bumps. But the WWE Hall Of Famer has revealed in interviews that doctors have allowed him to get a physical in the ring.

Also in the podcast he then focused on his possible return to WWE: "If you take me out of the opening of the show and get the 'WOOO!', Which I have, thank God. They will never get it back, they will replace me with The Ultimate Warrior, a guy who sued the company held them for money.

I guess the next thing they'll do with me, is to make a DVD where they and people say how bad I am like they did with The Warrior and then bring it back from them and put him in the Hall of Fame. This won't work for me. End. I write to Vince: 'Don't worry.

But you know, you won't, you won't bring me back. 'They don't want me at all. But I've never been able to work for Nick Khan in my entire life. Vince McMahon, I might work for him, but Nick Khan, the guy who orchestrated my retirement from the show.

[…] I'm talking to Vince now. I have no problem with Vince. He just knows that he won't be back." With Flair vowing to never return to WWE ever again, it's highly unlikely that his last pro wrestling match will be in Vince McMahon's promotion.
