Scott Garland will return to fight in 2022

In recent months, several WWE Superstars have left the company, some voluntarily and some involuntarily, between releases, firings and requests for early freedom from the natural end of their agreement with the federation.

If the list of fired people is very long and includes big names like Bray Wyatt, Aleister Black, Braun Strowman, Nia Jax, Lana and many many other wrestlers, that of those who voluntarily left WWE is much narrower, but still sees big names like Adam Cole and Daniel Bryan inside and soon probably also Johnny Gargano and Kyle O'Reilly.

In addition to the active WWE Superstars, who have asked for their release, just like Andrade, there have also been other insiders who have asked WWE to be allowed to abandon ship, such as Scott Garland, WWE road agent and coach, known to most like Scotty 2 Hotty, an athlete who played in the WWE rings between the late 90s and early 2000s, alongside the Hall of Famer's son Jerry Lawler, or Brian Cristopher and Rikishi, the father of the Usos.

The trio formed Too Cool and were known to Smackdown audiences for their ballets in the ring, which literally blasted the WWE Universe for several minutes.

Scott Garland is ready to return

After revealing that he had requested the release from WWE, after a few years of behind-the-scenes work at the company, Scott Garland also stated that he wants to get out of his retirement which was therefore temporary, to fight on the independent circuit all over the world.

Following the tweet in which he said he broke free from his WWE deal, Scott also stated: "My non-compete clause with WWE ends on December 23rd. Here are my 10 goals for 2022. It's been a whirlwind couple of weeks, crammed with so many positive messages, comments and phone calls.

It was overwhelming and fantastic and I can't thank you enough. I can't wait to see you all again in 2022." Among the many goals that Scotty expects to face in the new year, there is also the fight in Mexico, UK and Japan, with a calendar to be envied even by WWE Superstars.

played at the age of 48. Several big names from the wrestling industry responded to Scotty 2 Hotty's message with heartfelt tweets. They expressed gratitude for the lessons he imparted while working with them in WWE. WWE SmackDown Superstar Sasha Banks thanked Scotty 2 Hotty for his work and hailed him as the best.
