WWE legend Blackjack Lanza is dead

Yet another mourning for the world of pro-wrestling, with an icon and a legend of American wrestling who died in the last few hours. Let's talk about the WWE Hall of Famer Blackjack Lanza, seen in the rings all over the United States at the turn of the 70s and 80s, who also became an important WWE road agent in the Attitude Era of the 90s and later also Hall of Famer of the WWE, in the early 2000s.

The first to break the news was Jim Ross, Lanza's colleague for years, who commented on his Twitter account: “I just heard from an old Winnipeg friend Bob Holliday that Jack Lanza died at the age of 86. Jack was one of our main agents during the Attitude Era.

A fantastic hand." In memory of the former WWE commentator, now on the Aew televisions, the Stamford federation joined the team, who wrote on his official Twitter account: "Our hearts go out to the family and friends of WWE Hall of Famer Blackjack Lanza.

Jack Lanza was a real man, respected and loved by all. He loved him he worked for WWE for many years. His loyalty and dedication will never be forgotten."

The career of Blackjack Lanza, real name John Lanza, started in the early 1960s, where the athlete trained in the Minnesota territory together with Verne Gagne.

From there, his world began to travel throughout the United States, from St Loius, to Mid-Atlantic, to Indianapolis and finally to McMahon's WWWF. After also spending a few years in Georgia Championship Wrestling alongside the Von Erichs family, Blackjack Lanza was inducted into the Hall of Fame with Blackjacks by Bobby Heenan in 2006.

Two years earlier, Lanza had done the opposite favor to the longtime manager by introducing him to WWE's Ark of Glory. During the Attitude Era, as recalled by JR, Lanza worked as a road agent for the Wwf. The deepest condolences go from the entire WorldWrestling editorial team to all of Jack Lanza's family, friends and loved ones for this grave loss.

Robert Windham was an essential person in the world of pro-wrestling and his passing is terrible to see. He was by no means the most well known WWE star, but he was a legend in the business that should be remembered. He has one heck of a family tree as well, as you can see from WWE’s post regarding him. The fact that one man was able to be connected to so much is incredible.
