WWE has now started its show revolution, transforming its NXT into NXT 2.0 and going to soon modify 205 Live, as proposed this morning in one of our daily news. After seeing the generational change in the rings of the former WWE yellow show, with NXT having a new format, a new modified arena, new lighting sets and also part of the completely new roster, we also had to say goodbye to Johnny Gargano and Kyle O'Reilly, with the two that 99% will not sign a new agreement with the company, expiring right now.
After learning of the fact that Gargano had signed a one-week extension, only to take part in the WarGames of the McMahon company, we learned in the very last few hours that his agreement will end at midnight today and therefore in only one handful of hours.
What's next for Johnny Gargano?
There are already dozens of allegations about Johnny Gargano's future in the pro-wrestling world rings, with those who believe that in the end the athlete will sign a new agreement with the McMahons, perhaps for the main roster and those who instead believe that he will land on ring of the AEW.
The most probable hypothesis of all, however, remains that of the stop until February, when the firstborn of the couple formed by Gargano and his wife, Candice LaRae, will be born. The writers of the Wrestling Observer also wanted to speak about this almost certain stop, and they stated in one of the site's latest daily newsletters: "Both (both Gargano and O'Reilly ed) have had several offers to sign new deals with WWE and neither has signed anything, even though Gargano, whose deal ended two days before the show, extended it by just one week.
Gargano will be a free agent from December 11th and then legally will be able to listen to and accept any type of offer from anyone. From a legal point of view, he could start working immediately from that day, even if the latest indications make us follow the path of the momentary stop pending the birth of his wife, Candice LaRae, who will give birth, most likely by February, before returning to the ring."
As mentioned earlier, Johnny Gargano has been of the most popular faces in WWE and won the Tag Team Championships, NXT Championship, and the North American Championship. He is also the first-ever man to win the NXT Triple Crown Championship and has been a part of some incredible matches involving opponents like Adam Cole, Andrade Cien Almas, Tommaso Ciampa, and many more.
