Liv Morgan talks about her connection to the WWE Universe

Since WWE released the former Ruby Riott, now Ruby Soho in AEW, Liv Morgan has finally begun her solo journey, which has led to her being loved and supported by the WWE Universe. This climb has made her reach what is probably her most important peak, as she was able to challenge Becky Lynch for the female title of Raw, a weekly episode, which will happen again, this time in pay-per-view, on Day 1.

The two have been carrying on a feud for several weeks that has divided the fans a bit, but which in a sense is working, especially for the ex Riott Squad who is practicing a lot on the microphone and in the ring and is demonstrating what's its worth.

The rise of Liv Morgan

Interviewed by BT Sport, Liv Morgan talked about a particular moment, in which she felt that the fans were on her side: "There was a specific moment. It was on a Monday Night Raw and it was during a commercial break. I did a promo for the public. I'm just talking about Money In The Bank and how this is finally my time and I'm ready. And they just start singing in the chorus, 'You deserve it' and it filled my whole heart. And at that moment I was like, 'I'm on this journey with me. I feel that I'm here and they want this. 'It was just that moment when I thought:' Wow!'" Liv explains that she didn't do anything, in particular, to make herself loved so much: "I try to do what feels right to me. And I love the fans so much. I like to relate to them. I like to let them know that, you know, I listen to them. I look at them, and I think we have just developed this organic relationship. They watched me grow up. I've been part of WWE since I was 20. I'm 27 now. They just saw me progress and so I feel like they feel like they've been on this journey with me. Which they totally did. I wouldn't be where I am if it weren't for them."

One thing that did not disappear was the love and support of a passionate Liv Morgan fanbase. Money in the Bank was the first pay-per-view post-ThunderDome era and those first live crowds were clearly behind Morgan, giving her some of the loudest pops of the weekend. Speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling ahead of Extreme Rules, she called the reception unexpected and overwhelming. "As much as I try and as much as I try to give them everything, there's some things that are just out of my control, so sometimes I feel like I don't give them enough to even want to support me. Or even want to cheer for me, but luckily for some reason, that kind of made it (fan support) even stronger. I just hope that I can make them proud," said Liv Morgan.
