John Cena recalls his difficult past before WWE

One of the universally known faces of the Stamford-based company of the last twenty years is undoubtedly that of John Cena, multiple world champion and secondary of the McMahon-owned company, who for years has been the face of the entire company, with Johnny Boy who has practically traveled the whole world to make the WWE and its storylines known, even arriving as an international guest in our Sanremo festival, in the edition conducted in 2006 by Giorgio Panariello.

In all his years of unfinished career, John Cena has been the absolute workaholic of the Stamford-based company, with Vince McMahon who has used him for years in his most important storylines, making him even unpleasant and hated by several members of the WWE Universe, who could no longer stand his superhero role, in every context and in every way.

The fact that he never made a turn heel, according to the fans of the company, would have led the character of John Cena to remain stale for years, with his abandonment from the scenes, to continue his career as a Hollywood actor, which has instead he got very close to the WWE audience.

John Cena is a popular Hollywood star

In his latest interview with the internationally famous actress, Drew Barrymore's broadcast on The Drew Barrymore Show, John Cena wanted to talk about training to become a bodybuider, before joining WWE, with his job the main one was that of the limo driver, with the results of his work not exactly the best, being always and perpetually late.

In his speech, John has in fact told: "So I was always late, but I mean really late. I was able to pick up people up to half an hour before their flights. I got all kinds of swearing from passengers while I was escorting them to the airport.

They came with all these new gadgets that I didn't even know and then I grew up with four brothers." Fortunately for Cena, the turning point in his career came in 2002, with the call of the WWE making him one of the most famous and important characters in the entire history of pro-wrestling, with his life changing drastically over the course of very few years.

During his recent appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, John Cena was told by the host that he’d make “the world’s greatest father”. John Cena replied by saying he's currently enjoying his life and wouldn't be able to balance his career with parenthood.

"I really enjoy my life. I have been riding a lightning bolt for quite some time now. I have been given opportunities to do and see things that man, I didn’t even dream of and I had some pretty lofty dreams. It’s hard work.

It’s hard work to balance the time, I need to run myself correctly. It’s hard work to be the best partner and husband I can be to my loving wife. It’s hard to keep connections with those in my life that I love. And it’s also hard to put in an honest day’s work," said Cena.
