What are WWE's plans for Alexa Bliss?

During her WWE career, Alexa Bliss has held the Raw Women's Championship three times, the SmackDown Women's Championship twice, and the Women's Tag Team Championship twice alongside Nikki Cross. The 30-year-old from Columbus also won the 2018 edition of the Money in the Bank ladder match and became the second Triple Crown.

After concluding her alliance with Bray Wyatt, Alexa began conducting a program called 'Alexa' s Playground, where she was accompanied by a doll named Lilly in each episode. In the last episode of Monday Night Raw, Bliss gave birth to a rather particular segment.

A doctor asked her to remember her first meeting with Lilly. Alexa revealed that he met her when she was six and spent most of her childhood with her. The former Raw champion also told a disturbing story dating back many years before her.

In the latest edition of 'Legion of RAW' on Sportskeeda, former WWE and WCW writer Vince Russo expressed his disappointment with the way the company is handling Alexa Bliss.

Latest update on Alexa Bliss

"I still don't understand where WWE wants to go with Alexa Bliss" - admitted Russo.

“For wrestling to work, stories need to progress as the weeks go by. In the case of Alexa Bliss, we had three weeks of almost nothing. There has been no noteworthy development" - he increased the dose. Royal Rumble 2022 will see Mickie James return to WWE less than a year after his release.

“Knowing Vince McMahon well, I doubt he's going to sign deals with other federations. I think the reason for Mickie's return has particular roots. I think he has something to do with how they treated her when she was released.

I'm referring to the story of the infamous garbage bag that her stuff was put into. WWE wants to be forgiven by her" - explained Russo. Earlier this year, Alexa Bliss was undefeated in WWE and was part of a feud with Randy Orton.

She has since left the side of The Fiend and began a new storyline alongside Lilly. It's unclear if the Lilly character arc came to an end at Extreme Rules or whether or not Bliss will be able to bring her best friend back when she is able to make her return to the company.

The former Women's Champion updated a cryptic Tweet last night which seemed to confirm that some kind of change was set to come, it's unclear if this was regarding herself or Lilly.
