New details on Becky Lynch's future

One of the most talked-about names in wrestling in recent times is certainly that of the female wrestling legend Lita, who will return to the WWE rings on Saturday 29 January 2022 to participate in the women's Royal Rumble match.

She obviously is very determined to win in order to then go to Wrestlemania to win one of the two belts currently held by Becky Lynch for Raw and Charlotte Flair for SmackDown. Surely with a name like that of Lita and two names like Becky and Charlotte, who have been able to take up the baton and carry on what has been done by the Hall of Famer, she can only possibly come out with something extraordinary.

But who will really want to challenge Lita between the two?

Backstage news on Becky Lynch

Speaking on the Throwing Down with Renee Paquette and Miesha Tate podcast, Lita talked about her recent bout with Charlotte Flair, which occurred two weeks ago on the weekly SmackDown episode, and her desire to take on Becky Lynch.

"Charlotte and I started something last week, so I wouldn't mind getting the better of her," Lita said. "But there's also something with Becky. I feel very attached to her, like our travels to get into the business and everything, so much so that I'd like to see what that would come up with." The Irishman, however, is not the only WWE superstar that the Hall of Famer would like to challenge, in fact, she also has a couple of names of two young athletes in mind, one currently at NXT and one who has spent a few months on the main roster: "I also have this fantasy of how I and Shotzi and Gigi Dolin could be there at the same time.

It's kind of like we're a misfit team, so I'd be happy and surprised too if she [Shotzi] was in there." Shotzi had had to leave the Though Enough show due to a fairly serious problem, and it was Lita who comforted her and had nice words during the show for the wrestler, who then luckily recovered and continued to do what she loved.

The two have also recently teased each other on social media just to challenge each other. We also remember that in her return to SmackDown, Lita said that she thinks she still has a few things to do in WWE, so none of these rivalries can be ruled out for the months ahead in 2022.

In the same video, Lynch called Lita a “friend,” Liv Morgan an “up-and-comer,” and The Bella Twins “ground-breakers”. She also used the word “legend” for Trish Stratus, “brat” for Bayley, “spooky” for Alexa Bliss, “boss” for Sasha Banks, and “future” for Bianca Belair.
