Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley will deliver a memorable show

The Royal Rumble 2022 will be staged on Saturday 29 January, one of the most anticipated pay-per-views of the entire year. Brock Lesnar will face Bobby Lashley in a match that promises show and twists. The 'Beast' made his umpteenth return to WWE at SummerSlam 2021, sparking a heated feud with Universal Champion Roman Reigns. The first clash between the two took place in Crown Jewel, Saudi Arabia, with the 'Tribal Chief' victorious thanks also to the fundamental help of Jey and Jimmy Uso. Their rivalry should have continued with a new chapter on 'Day 1', but Roman's positivity to the Coronavirus has upset the management's plans.

Lesnar was included in the contest valid for the WWE Championship, from which he came out victorious to general amazement. Now 'The All Mighty' awaits him, who is not having the best moment of his career. As part of his 'Hall of Fame' podcast, Booker T confided that Lesnar and Lashley could put on a memorable show in a couple of days.

Update on Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley

“We haven't seen something like this for a long time. The match between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley represents something of a throwback for WWE. We are talking about two authentic heavyweights who will play a no holds barred match. Brock and Bobby have taken wrestling to a new dimension, so my expectations are sky-high. I have no idea what we will see in the ring, but it could be the most thrilling challenge of the modern era. I think both of these athletes have exactly what it takes to bring something special to life,” said Booker T. The two-time WWE Hall of Famer commented on Lita's participation in the Royal Rumble: “Some pundits believe she has taken the place of some young superstar on the launch pad. If I had to choose between an unripe athlete and Lita, I would undoubtedly opt for the latter. We know very well what Lita is capable of, all her eyes will be on her.”

Brock Lesnar has found himself as a defending world champion on numerous occasions at the event. In 2015, he faced and defeated Seth Rollins and John Cena in a Triple Threat match. In 2018, he faced and defeated Braun Strowman and Kane. In 2019, he defeated Finn Balor in a good match, and in 2020, he put on a record-breaking performance as he dominated in the first half of the Royal Rumble before being eliminated by eventual-winner Drew McIntyre.
