Randy Orton has a very strange obsession

Randy Orton is a third-generation superstar, as his grandfather, Bob Orton Sr., his father Bob Orton Jr. and his uncle Barry Orton were professional wrestlers between the 1950s and the 2000s. During his WWE career, the 41-year-old from Knoxville held the WWE Championship ten times, the heavyweight title four times, and once each the Intercontinental Championship, United States Championship, World Tag Team Championship, Raw Tag Team Championship and the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, becoming the 10th wrestler in history to have completed the Grand Slam.

Orton also boasts the record for the highest number of participations in WWE pay-per-view events (at 177). Randy has done a great job on Raw for the past two years. His alliance with Riddle has been welcomed by the public, who have often sided with them over the past few months.

Guest in the latest edition of the podcast 'The Ringer Wrestling', the 'Legend Killer' spoke of his obsession with reptiles.

Randy Orton's anecdote

Following reports that WWE originally booked Riddle to win this year's Royal Rumble Match, the future of his tag team with Randy Orton seems in doubt.

There is now an update on RK-Bro's future and what would happen if they split. "Early in my career, I was fascinated by Jake 'The Snake' Roberts, who had an unbridled passion for reptiles. Jake almost always carried his snake with him, he will never forget that big boa.

I gasped every time I watched him go by. There my obsession with reptiles began. There is no connection with the fact that they nickname me 'the Viper' When I was in high school, I had purchased an 11-foot Burmese python as a pet to keep in my room.

My mother was really fantastic, she looked after him and she didn't miss anything. I fed him the rabbits. I would go to a pet shop and ask them if they had any battered rabbits to feed my python. I was a pretty particular guy” - Orton said.

Randy wants to fight for a while longer: "Performing once a week would be ideal for me and that's what I'm doing now." RK-Bro are currently in a feud with Alpha Academy for the RAW Tag Team Championship. It could get wrapped up in time for the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event, where Bobby Lashley will defend his newly-won WWE Championship inside the dreaded structure.

Orton and Riddle could both be a part of the Chamber Match, with one of them winning. This would add another level to a potential rivalry between the two of them at WrestleMania 38.
