Raw's programming changes

On a television level, the fact that the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics are being held in these weeks is a big deal for WWE. This is demonstrated by the fact that the next episode of Monday Night Raw, scheduled for next Monday night, will not be broadcast as always on USA Network in America, but on the less attractive Syfy TV channel.

That's why, in order to avoid the risks of presenting mortifying ratings, the WWE decided to propose an episode with many succulent moments. WWE has already announced that in the next episode of Raw there will be a match between Seth Rollins and Riddle.

The two are among the participants in the Elimination Chamber Match which will take place in the event of the same name scheduled for February 19 in Saudi Arabia, in preparation for which they will clash in a one-on-one match.

The RK-Bro member had earned that right by beating Otis in a qualifier match, while Seth Rollins needed a simple announcement during an episode of the Kevin Owens Show.

Latest update on Raw

Seth Rollins has been a busy man on the road to WrestleMania, but he isn't the only one.

After failing to capture world titles earlier this month, he will have one more chance as he goes inside the Elimination Chamber. This week, the four-time world champion will face a top star for the first time on Raw. Not only that, but it's against a man with whom he had a legitimate beef in the past.

But that's not all, because the WWE has already wanted to make known the presence of Lita in the next episode of Monday Night Raw. The legendary fighter, as well as WWE Hall of Famer, will return to Elimination Chamber to play a match valid for the title of female champion.

She specifically will attempt the assault on Raw's queen crown, currently held by Becky Lynch. A meeting with a decidedly changed meaning after the official match of Ronda Rousey to Charlotte Flair for WrestleMania arrived this Friday night in SmackDown.

In other words, the winner of the Royal Rumble will not see her in the Showcase of the Immortals against her ancient rival Becky, but with her other great enemy of the 2018-2019 period. This potentially makes the fight between Lynch herself and Lita much less "in passing"

Another reason to make their fight even more "charged", and the face to face that will precede it. Finally, the WWE has announced that Raw will continue the challenges between the RK-Bro and the Alpha Academy, this time through a "Quiz Bowl" A further attempt to increase the desire to see the Monday night show, Olympics permitting.
