The episode of RAW begins with the entry of WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, accompanied by his manager MVP. The All Mighty makes it clear that he will win the Elimination Chamber match and that he will come to WrestleMania as reigning champion.
Obviously, a few days before the show, the comparison between all the participants in the Chamber could not be missing: in fact, in order, are Seth Rollins, Riddle (with his "sweet toga"), Austin Theory, AJ Styles and finally Brock Lesnar.
The Beast Incarnate, after placing his Cowboy hat and his pullover on poor Theory, is attacked from behind by the latter but, in a few moments, unleashes two German Suplexes and an F5 on Vince McMahon's pupil, to make it clear that, in the Chamber, he is the number one danger.
Tag Team Match: Street Profits vs Dirty Dogs After the clash between the six participants of the rumble, the Street Profits enter the ring and challenge the Dirty Dogs in a tag team match. But pay attention to the commentary table: as a guest there is a well-known face of NXT in feud with Dolph Ziggler, that is Tommaso Ciampa.
Brock Lesnar has been well-received by fans ever since his babyface turn and his more laidback, authentic persona. There's a lot to love about it, but the recent booking of Lesnar has made some fans skeptical.
Brock Lesnar has been well-received by fans
It seems to be the company teasing a champion vs.
champion match - something they've done numerous times before. It's clear - if Brock Lesnar wins at Elimination Chamber, then the WrestleMania main event will be a champion vs. champion, title vs. title bout. No matter how much one loves Lesnar, the idea of both world titles being in one match doesn't sit well with fans, and for good reason.
It takes away a big spot from RAW stars who have been working hard all year long, and it also reinforces the idea that there are only truly two top superstars in WWE. The match was won by the Street Profits thanks to Montez Ford's Frog Splash on Robert Roode.
Winners: Street Profits Meanwhile, backstage, there is a party, or rather, an RK-Broga Party, with Riddle who is the host without Orton, intent on preparing for the Main Event of the evening where he will meet with Seth Rollins.
1 vs 1 United States Championship Match: Damien Priest © vs AJ Styles Let's move on to one of the most interesting matches of the evening, namely the match valid for the United States title, which sees Damien Priest defending his title from the onslaught of AJ Styles.
Obviously a good match came out of these two great athletes, shame about the cabbage ending, that is Priest's Roll Up on Styles and victory. Nice gesture, after the match, between both who exchange a handshake as a sign of mutual respect.
