The news came about in November that Trish Stratus was returning to WWE to present a live event in her beloved Canada, her country of origin. The event was to be held in Toronto on December 29, as announced by her official website: “Trish Stratus is ready to serve up some Stratusfaction for the WWE Universe holidays in Toronto.
The Hall of Famer returns for one night only to present the WWE live event on Wednesday 29 December at the Coca-Cola Coliseum. "Excited to walk through that tent and feel the energy of the WWE Universe once again. Let's do it Toronto!" Unfortunately, everything has been postponed due to the increases in COVID infections that hit the whole world around the Christmas holidays of 2021, and now we finally have a date, or rather, two dates and possibly more of her comeback!
Trish Stratus to be present at WrestleCon 2022
In fact, Trish will present two WWE events in Canada, the first will be on March 26 and the second on March 27, both in Ontario and are sponsored as shows belonging to Raw, so beware because Trish had her eyes on the current champion of the red brand Becky Lynch.
Trish also confirmed these dates through a tweet posted on 22nd February: "Happy 2/22/22! Canada – you can see me 22222222 times in March!" While these two WWE Live Events aren't the only two opportunities to see Trish Stratus back in the ring if the WWE doesn't surprise us with a few twists, the Hall of Famer herself will be in Dallas over the weekend of Wrestlemania 38 as she takes part in WrestleCon this year.
Could this be a sign of its possible use for the Showcase of the Immortals? We should wait to see. Meanwhile, also for this occasion, Trish Stratus wrote a tweet keeping the fans updated: “Ready for some Stratusfaction Dallas? @wrestllecon let's go!"
