JBL takes a shot at Kevin Owens

JBL targeted Kevin Owens after the former universal champion made a series of disparaging remarks about Texas. John Bradshaw Layfield loves his home state more than anything, but in the past few weeks, Kevin Owens has been doing several badass promos about Texas and at the WWE Hall of Famer, of course, that didn't go well.

On this matter, JBL warned Kevin Owens: “This is John Bradshaw Layfield, also known as JBL to my friends, of which Kevin Owens is not a part. Once the longest reigning WWE champion in SmackDown television history fought like hell.

They've been around for a long time. I have seen several people lying in the course of my career. They told you one thing but it wasn't how they wanted you to drink it. Kevin Owens however won the first prize. He is officially the most lying human being who has ever walked the earth.

Dutch Mantel would say he should be more honest just to get to the level of dishonesty. Kevin must know that WrestleMania is the amazing two-night show, the greatest of all time is it will be in Dallas, home of Von Erich's, Freebirds, Skandor Akbar, Gary Hart.

We all have a very simple message for you. We don't want you. We don't need you and we don't like you. Don't come to the great state of Texas. It won't end well for you, I hope next week in your match with Seth Freakin' Rollins, you will lose.

I hope you're looking at me and going into an open sewer somewhere to get stuck there until mid-summer. I hope you have a terrible day. Remember Kevin you were awful in my hat."

JBL slams Kevin Owens

It is reported that Kevin Owens' anti-Texas words are actually addressed to another Hall of Famer and Texan, Stone Cold Steve Austin.

In recent weeks, his return to the ring after 2003 is increasingly possible, with a possible opponent KO at Wrestlemania. On May 18th, 2015, Kevin Owens made his surprise debut on the main roster, where he could dominate the brand even though he was the NXT Champion.

At the time, Owens was seen as The Prizefighter and only cared about adding gold to his collection. It's obvious that his potential has been wasted following his move over to SmackDown and now Owens needs something to allow him to pick up where he left off.

This move over to RAW could be a way for WWE to reset Owens' timeline and allow him to push towards Championship glory in the company.
