Backstage news on Pat McAfee's future

This evening, on The Pat McAfee Show, there was an interesting interview with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, who gave Pat an important announcement regarding the WWE Hall of Fame 2022. In addition to that, however, everyone expected something that could lead the two to have a feud in the weeks to come, in the Road to Wrestlemania, which was to culminate in a match at the Showcase of the Immortals.

Ringside wrote: “A WWE source told me to expect Pat McAfee involved in a feud over Wrestlemania 38. Ringside News asked around and we were able to confirm that this report is accurate. Pat McAfee should take part in some kind of WrestleMania feud."

New details on Pat McAfee

WWE commentator Corey Graves has taken to Twitter to call out his fellow commentary booth member Pat McAfee.

After a good chat, McMahon took matters into his own hands and told the former NFL that he wants to offer him a match at Wrestlemania 38: "I know you love what we do and you are part of the team. Great. they really appreciate it.

Fans all over the world have a lot of fun watching you be yourself. You can't find anyone, I guess back in time Bob Costas, standing on a desk dancing around. But you are you and that's why it works. With this, I would like to offer you the opportunity to really wrestle at Wrestlemania.

In the ring. It would be different, though, from when you were playing for the Colts. Okay, you are the punter, but now, in the ring, you will be a linebacker. We will find some worthy opponent for you and we will put you in the ring." Obviously, Pat McAfee immediately accepted, showing himself very excited about this proposal.

In recent weeks there was talk of a clash between the commentator and the Chairman, also mentioned by Pat himself after this announcement, but for now, Vince has remained fairly generic, telling him precisely that he will find an opponent for him, so we will have to wait to find out with who will face Pat at Wrestlemania 38.

We just have to continue to follow the WWE and SmackDown specifically. Meanwhile, we congratulate McAfee. The former NFL star recently hosted an edition of his Pat McAfee Show, featuring a rare sit-down interview with Vince McMahon.

On the show, the latter offered McAfee a WrestleMania match but didn't disclose the opponent. Rumors have pointed out that the two were set to face off at the "Grandest Stage of Them All."
