Huge WWE star praises Bobby Lashley

It was March 1, 2021 when Bobby Lashley finally expressed his full potential by becoming the new WWE Champion. 'The All Mighty' then successfully defended his title against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania, following an interesting reign that lasted for nearly seven months.

Although Lashley's ride was abruptly interrupted, no one can ever take away from him the victory over Brock Lesnar in their highly anticipated head to head. According to many insiders, Vince McMahon has reserved for Bobby a fate very similar to that of Drew McIntyre.

Barring sensational and unlikely twists, the Junction City veteran will have to skip WrestleMania 38 due to injury. In his career, Lashley has held the WWE title twice, twice the ECW World Championship, twice the Intercontinental Championship and twice the United States Championship, four times the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, once the TNA X Division Championship and once the TNA King of the Mountain Championship.

MVP opens up on Bobby Lashley

It's no secret that Vince McMahon has always been a big fan of Bobby Lashley. Between 2006 and 2007, he seemed to have reached the pinnacle of his career and had taken part in the very famous 'Battle of the Billionaires'

Guest on the latest edition of the 'Wrestling With Freddie' podcast, MVP commented on Bobby's rise: “Lashley is certainly more mature than in the past, which allowed him to further expand his repertoire.

These improvements in him - combined with the synergy we found together - prompted Vince McMahon to make him the new champion. He understood that his time had come for him”. In the latest edition of his 'Hall of Fame' podcast, Booker T revealed that WWE plans to turn Lashley into something special in the coming years.

“A source close to WWE gave me some interesting news a few days ago. The management would like to turn Bobby into something very special in the next 2-3 years. I recommend that you observe it with great attention from now on."

He further added that Lashley might be out for at least four months and is likely to miss this year's WrestleMania as well.
