The Usos show up on the square! The Samoan twins say that Roman Reigns has been champion for 557 days and they have been champion for 237 days because no one is at their level. SHINSUKE NAKAMURA AND RICK BOOGS INTERVENE! Boogs has a visible leg bandage and replies that they will be the next champions, so Jimmy proposes a match between Rick and his brother Jey, promising a title shot at Wrestlemania if the guitarist wins.
The Freddie Mercury of the poor accepts immediately, despite the glaring injury. - Jey Uso vs Rick Boogs. Last week, the SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos attacked Rick Boogs and Shinsuke Nakamura from behind as they were making their entrance.
It was an evident set-up for a WrestleMania match, and it was the duo of Boogs and Nakamura who confronted the champions this week.
Shinsuke Nakamura is in the shade
The Usos have essentially cleared out the SmackDown Tag Team division, and Rick Boogs and Shinsuke Nakamura are the ones who are still left.
It will be interesting to see the direction it goes, and whether they can dethrone the record-breaking tag team champions at WrestleMania. I was joking! The injury does not exist, Boogs takes off the bandage to the sound of the gong, leaving Jey stunned.
It was all a plan. Boogs immediately starts picking up Reigns' cousin and throwing him everywhere, in every possible way. Jey has a reaction thanks to the distraction caused by Jimmy, but Rick recovers quickly and ... PUMPHANDLE SLAM!
.. 1 ... 2 ... 3! '' Main event '' Jey slaughtered and the Usos have new opponents for Wrestlemania, but Jimmy manages to give Boogs a Super Kick in the nose before taking his brother away. The character he had built up around himself made him a crowd favorite.
It wasn’t long before he won the Championship there, and kept going. One thing that drew my attention was one particular entrance of his before a match at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom. WWE did play him well as a heel, and there’s no doubt that he is still a fan favorite.
Shinsuke Nakamura is back in the spotlight by winning the Tag Team Championship with Cesaro after beating The New Day at Extreme Rules. This could be another line for him to pull himself back to the main cards. We hope to see much more of that raw charisma from Shinsuke Nakamura over the next few months. Nakamura’s talents and presence is frankly something that can never be taught.
