During the last edition of the Royal Rumble which aired at the end of January, there were some problems in terms of writing and managing the booking team, when Shane McMahon decided to take over the creative phase of the men's Rumble, going to modify important passages of the dispute desired by his father, in which he became the absolute protagonist of the match.

After sending all the insiders into a rage, Vince Mcmahon was forced to oust his son from management, sending him straight home and apparently ousting him from the important plans that the WWE patron's son also had for Wrestlemania, with his appearance in the Showcase of the Immortals rings still remaining unknown.

In the last few weeks, we have in fact read online the most disparate news about this affair, with the latest updates that had also revealed what could have been in the end the replacement that replaced the name of Shane at the top of the card of the show.

Backstage news on Shane McMahon

Apparently, in the last few hours the well-known overseas site, PW Insider seems to have reported the news that the WWE's retraced its steps, going to invite Shane McMahon at Wrestlemania.

However, at the moment it is not known, what will be his role. After all the backstage hustle and bustle of Royal Rumble 2022, it seems that the waters have calmed down, with several sources inside WWE confirming this, with Shane McMahon being in fact present throughout the Wrestlemania weekend.

At the moment we do not know if Shane will be a figure who will appear on-screen or if he will only work backstage or at Axxess, but the sure thing is that the son of the WWE Chairman will be present in the Showcase of the Immortals area, for the duration of the event during the week dedicated to the show of the shows.

In the event that Shane were to appear on-screen, it would therefore be the first time that Vince and Linda McMahon's eldest son reappears on the scene after the events that happened at Rumble. Reports following Royal Rumble stated that there was significant backstage heat on McMahon due to his controversial production and booking of the men's match.

Some sources claimed that the situation backstage at the show was 'chaotic,' with McMahon reportedly demanding that his creative ideas be implemented into the match.
