Hello and welcome to the Friday Night SmackDown report. Will anyone try to take advantage of the Showcase Of Immortals? Will there be any last second changes? In the meantime, we will enjoy Andrè The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
In the American Airlines Center in Dallas, everything is ready. - Andrè The Giant Memorial Battle Royal! Let's start immediately with the 20-man fight that was downgraded by Wrestlemania, with the unannounced presence of Dolph Ziggler, Finn Balor and Tommaso Ciampa.
The first to fly out is Akira Tozawa, closely followed by Reggie, who was distracted just to make fun of his newly eliminated rival. Immediately after, R-Truth is also out, so the three protagonists of the run-up to the 24/7 Title can be satisfied.
Jinder Mahal comes out at the hands of the Viking Raiders, then it's up to T-Bar and Drew Gulak. Hurt Business chooses their opponents badly, with Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin being thrown out by Crews and Azeez. The Usos are the longest-reigning SmackDown Tag Team Champions of all time.
It's been a huge run, but it almost went under the radar because of their association with Roman Reigns and the overall success of The Bloodline.
The Usos dominate
It was Theory who picked up the win for himself and The Usos, with the champions standing tall ahead of WrestleMania.
It wouldn't be surprising to see this as an indication that the eight-month-long reign of Jey and Jimmy Uso could be coming to an end soon. Mansoor realizes he is not in Arabia and is out thanks to Ciampa, while the Vikings send Apollo Crews over the third rope, but Azeez avenges the ally by eliminating both Vikings.
At last, in the most anticipated clash of giants ever, Azeez battles with Shanky, but all the others team up and both find themselves out. FINAL 6! The Dirty Dawgs, Tommaso Ciampa, Madcap Moss, Finn Balor and Damien Priest remain.
In short, no surprise. Balor gets the better of Priest and the Dawgs manage to eliminate Ciampa. WE ARE ON THE FINAL! Ziggler and Roode take it out on Balor, but Moss surprises both of them and lifts them over the third rope. Balor narrowly saves himself!
The former Club leader launches into the attack, but Moss moves and grabs him at the last minute, then throws him out. MADCAP MOSS WINS ANDRE THE GIANT MEMORIAL BATTLE ROYAL!
