Kevin Owens opens up on Sami Zayn

One of the most particular matches we saw in this edition of Wrestlemania was certainly the one that saw the former Intercontinental Champion, Sami Zayn and Hollywood actor Johnny Knoxville as protagonists, with the famous actor of the Jackass saga, who returned to tread for the second time the ring of the McMahon company as a real wrestler, after the fleeting appearance at the Royal Rumble.

During the match, the two combined all sorts of things, with the entire Jackass crew appearing in the contest, trying to attack Sami Zayn in every way, trying to tip the scales of the match against Knoxville. In the end, the winner of the Anything Goes match was in fact Knoxville, after unleashing several traps in full Jackass style, such as an "automatic low part kicker" or fireworks to shoot directly on the back of his opponent.

Apparently, however, there would have been another great colleague of Sami Zayn who would have made false cards to have a match against Knoxville. We are talking about Sami Zayn's eternal friend/foe, Kevin Owens, who in his last interview said how jealous he was that Sami could have had such a match on the Wrestlemania card and he didn't.

In his last speech to the microphones of Metro-UK, Kevin Owens wanted to talk about Wrestlemania and the only match he would have exchanged for his inside the Showcase of the Immortals card, saying: "I've loved all the Jackass movies, I've always loved them, I've been a Johnny Knoxville fan for a long time.

The fact that Sami Zayn has managed to have all of this with him is fantastic. If I hadn't been in the ring with Stone Cold this weekend, I would have really been a lot jealous and envious! It was all beautiful, I'm really happy for him."

Kevin Owens can still be very satisfied with what he managed to do at Wrestlemania, with the athlete who managed to have a match against the most famous WWE Hall of Famer of the Attitude Era, returning to the ring after almost 20 years from the last match, with such a dispute that will certainly enter the history of the company, with the name of Owens who has thus reached very high peaks, probably the highest of his entire career.

Sami Zayn battled against Jackass star Johnny Knoxville in a highly entertaining match. The bout had numerous memorable moments, including a large slapping hand, fire extinguishers, the Jackass cast jumping into the ring, and a giant mousetrap.
