Eric Bischoff opens up on Brock Lesnar

In the highlight match on the second night of WrestleMania 38, the two main WWE titles were up for grabs. Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns have met for the second time in the last year after the victory obtained by the 'Tribal Chief' at Crown Jewel (thanks also to the fundamental help of Jey and Jimmy Uso).

The two should also have clashed on 'Day 1', the first pay-per-view of 2022, but Roman's coronavirus positivity had forced the company to change plans. Predictably, Reigns defeated the Beast in Mania and won the entire stake.

Lesnar's lack of willingness to work full-time had led many experts to predict the triumph of the former Shield member. According to insiders, the rivalry between the two would have come to an end. Roman is expected to remain the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion for the next few months.

In the latest edition of his now-famous podcast, Eric Bischoff commented on Brock’s defeat in the most important event of the year.

Eric Bischoff on Brock Lesnar

"I think WWE did well to get Roman Reigns to win against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38," said Eric Bischoff.

“The return of the Beast has had the desired effect because we have seen a new version of his character. He showed a different side of himself, complete with jokes and gags that were appreciated by the WWE Universe. Despite having lost that aura of invincibility that had characterized him in the past, Lesnar has made a significant qualitative leap in terms of the depth of his character.

Now we know that Brock can be beaten, but we appreciate the fact that he is much more charming and unpredictable than a few years ago” - he added. Eric then commented on Cody Rhodes' return to WWE: “I would say everything was perfect at WrestleMania.

He heard a roar as he walked in and his meeting didn't disappoint. I have to admit that it was great to be able to watch him live. I'm happy for him, I really mean it”. Per PWInsider, WWE has been distributing promotional material in the Las Vegas area with a number of superstars present in the advertisements.

The likes of Roman Reigns, Bianca Belair, Ronda Rousey, and Charlotte Flair are all shown on the material, implying that they may compete at the event. Another recognizable face on the advertisement is Brock Lesnar, which could indicate that The Beast Incarnate will be returning to WWE following his loss to Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 38.
