Raw: New match for WrestleMania Backlash

The WrestleMania Backlash card continues to be built in the weekly WWE shows following the events of WrestleMania 38, including rematches and some news. Another match was made official during the last episode of Raw and will be a rematch of a match already seen at the Showcase of Immortals.

This is a rematch between Edge and AJ Styles, who are continuing their rivalry after winning WrestleMania's Rated R Superstar. In Dallas, Edge had got the better of AJ Styles following a distraction caused by Damian Priest, who thus revealed his alliance with the former world champion.

The following evening on Raw, the two declared the birth of a new stable and reiterated their differences with AJ Styles. The match for Backlash was sanctioned last night when Edge took on Phenomenal One, which he accepted before being attacked backstage by his opponent and Damian Priest.

Last week AJ Styles got to take on Priest in the ring, but the latter mysteriously disappeared from the arena in the middle of the match through a strange play of light. Although Finn has his hands full defending his United States Championship against Theory on RAW, he may have to keep one eye open on a possible attack from Edge.

Update on WrestleMania Backlash

The rematch between Edge and AJ Styles adds to an already quite tempting card. In fact, at WrestleMania Backlash we will also see the rematch between Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes after the triumphant return of the American Nightmare to the Grandest Stage of Them All following a request from The Visionary.

Ronda Rousey will once again attempt her assault on the SmackDown Women's Championship when she faces Charlotte Flair in an I Quit Match to silence the controversies that followed The Queen's confirmation two weeks ago.

Finally, after Roman Reigns unified the maximum titles with a win over Brock Lesnar, the Usos will attempt to repeat the exploits of their Tribal Chief and Bloodline leader by facing the RK-Bro in a match that will unify Raw's duo titles.

and SmackDown. The Rated R Superstar revealed that he had turned to the dark side once more, and the cunning villain could not wait to get his hands on Styles on The Grandest Stage of Them All. In a surprise twist at WrestleMania 38, Edge received some backup in the form of Damian Priest, which subsequently allowed him to score the victory.

Now, forging a new path, who knows what the seven-time World Heavyweight Champion will have in store over the next few weeks and months.
