Booker T comments on his second WWE Hall of Fame induction

Booker T was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for the second time in his career. Booker was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 6, 2013, by his brother, Lash. He will also be inducted into the 2019 class on April 6, 2019, as a member of Harlem Heat with his brother Lash "Stevie Ray" Huffman, which makes him only the third to ever be a two-time Hall of Famer, after Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels.

Booker is a six-time world champion, having won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship five times (four times in WCW, and once in the WWF) and WWE's World Heavyweight Championship once. He is the first non-mixed race African American to become a world champion in WWE and was voted the greatest World Heavyweight Champion in a WWE viewer poll.

During a recent interview with Sportskeeda, Booker expressed his joy: “I got the phone call, one of the office guys, I don’t want to say his name or anything like that, but I always thought I was too young to go into The Hall of Fame.

I was like, “I’m not old enough. I don’t have enough grey hair yet. I might have a few matches still left in me”. I just didn’t feel like I was ready to go into The Hall of Fame”.
