When will Elias return?

In the post-Wrestlemania episode of Monday Night Raw, there were numerous surprises for fans of the WWE Universe, including some comebacks. After a few years of absence, Cody Rhodes is also back in the rings of the McMahon family, having started the Khan family's All Elite Wrestling as executive vice president.

In addition to the great return of the son of the WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, there was also the return of Elias after months and months of absence, with the WWE Drifter who, however, showed up in front of the WWE cameras with a look and an all-new character, namely that of Ezekiel, younger brother of Elias.

Obviously, all the fans immediately understood how it was a storyline built by the WWE, with Kevin Owens immediately freaking out, verbally attacking Ezekiel and wanting to kick him out of the ring. All this, however, lasted for weeks, with one of the last episodes of Monday Night Raw that even saw Ezekiel being put to the lie detector, to see if the athlete was really telling lies about him and his identity or not obviously by the Canadian Owens.

The latest news on Elias

In his latest interview, obviously released in gimmick, Ezekiel wanted to talk about his older brother who has disappeared from the WWE rings for months, that is the Drifter, Elias. Interviewed precisely about his old character staged in the company's rings, Ezekiel spoke to WWE The Bump microphones as follows: "It's not like I talk to him all the time.

If you guys remember, Elias was a bit of a wanderer, he goes back and forth, and you never know what he's doing. If I had to guess, I think I'd look for those who do some soul, who play some instruments. Maybe he's playing in a small bar here or there, performing some show to entertain himself.

I haven't talked to him recently but what I'm wondering is who knows what he's doing." Elias hasn't been as successful on the championship front in WWE, but that shouldn't define his tenure between 2017 to 2021. He has been responsible for some of the more memorable RAW segments over the last few years.

He has also switched back-and-forth between being a babyface and a heel, although he seemed to be more of a natural heel in his previous character. Ezekiel was once on friendly terms with Kevin Owens on-screen, but that doesn't appear to be the case anymore. With Ezekiel now a clean-cut babyface, he looks like he will be Owens' first post-WrestleMania feud.
