Kurt Angle names his favorite wrestlers

In the last period of his career in the WWE rings, Kurt Angle has held the most disparate roles, from the wrestler now about to retire, who was going to make his last match in the Wrestlemania rings against Baron Corbin, to the General Manager of Monday Night Raw, including being the acknowledged biological father of a federation athlete who later disappeared from the scene, Jason Jordan, with the athlete who should have had a big push, if a neck injury hadn't forced him to stop fighting.

Shortly after his dismissal as a road agent due to the outbreak of the global pandemic, Kurt Angle was also offered the role of manager for Monday Night Raw rising star Matt Riddle, with WWE Olympic Gold Medalist working alongside Randy Orton's tag team partner, to make it grow in front of the cameras on the main roster, after his arrival on Raw starting from NXT.

Apparently, the whole thing was eventually trashed, with WWE leaving Angle at home until this year's Royal Rumble when the Hall of Famer was called backstage at the company, both to record some scenes for the company's network and to talk about various future projects.

Kurt Angle is a WWE Hall of Famer

In the last episode of his very personal Kurt Angle Show, the WWE Hall of Famer wanted to list the names of wrestler faces that he himself would have engraved on the famous Mount Rushmore, where the most influential American presidents in history have been drawn in stone.

Without any surprises, Angle has in fact stated: "Shawn Michaels, Chris Benoit, AJ Styles and Eddie Guerrero. I wouldn't have put AJ Styles up there. I think Shawn Michaels and Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero deserve to be there, but AJ is definitely included in my 3 or 4 favorites.

He proved it to me every single time we got in the ring and worked together. Every time he impressed me." After having had a long stint together in the TNA rings, which later became IMPACT Wrestling, the two found themselves in the WWE rings, where Styles was on the launch pad and instead Angle was now on the sunset avenue of his career.

Kurt Angle is a WWE Hall of Famer, an Olympic Gold Medalist, and a multi-time world champion. He is considered to be one of the best technicians of all time. Apart from wrestling, Angle has also worked as an on-screen authority figure in WWE.
